After last scenario – Sunken Vessel – we firmly agreed that will be permanently playing our scenarios on +1 Level. Simply, we needed additional challenge and being on the verge I think 🙂 And as for the story-line of the campaign, we decided that instead of closing the magic rift, out of which multiple types of elements were emerging, we will go inside the chasm! As the latter story shows, we will still cross paths with the enchanter which was supposed to help us in closing the rift. What we will find in the rift – you will see in below session report!
So, the set-up before the scenario looked like this (we played on Level 3):
- me – playing Brute – currenlty level 4
- Kuba J – playing Spellweaver – currenlty level 3
- Kuba G – playing Tinkerer – currenlty level 3
The scenario itself:
And here the session report!

The scenario was of medium difficulty; quickly cleaned first room plus fact that we know by now our heroes pretty well allows us for swift and entertaining game, while passing the scenarios even on +1 Level.
As for the scenario outcome, surprise, surprise!, there was even larger demon (of the Uber type) who gave us choice to do some mission for him or die. We chosen… you will see in next session report!

The author insisted i add something 😉 if i remember well, the first room went quite easily as we’ve had luck while picking attack cards, and we’ve stunned maybe even 2 of 3 opponents. in the 2nd room, as usually we struggle most, as it’s getting close to long rest and we slowly run out of cards. Minor stamina potion really helps, it only adds one turn, but sometimes it can be crucial. I think Our Brute had biggest problems there, 5 oppoents focusing on one target, wasn’t pleasant, due to spread and distance me(Spellweaver and Jakub. G. – Tinkerer) weren’t able to help very quickly , instead attacks we tried healing and slowly moved inside room to get proper distance to attack as well. Only i had the piercing bow to negate sheields and i didn’t want to use it(one time only) in that room, as the final room is usually most difficult one. Without percing beating 2 fire demons with high shields wasn’t easy, it took us a while, but we cleaned room and took long rests before 3rd room. Final room, was relatively quick and easy, with best cards refreshed, our biggest problem was again collecting ( treasure, earning ticks/perks, and gaining exp/cash ) as opponents could be killed relatively easy, fire demons with the use of bow, brute’s kill action agains sun/light demon, and basic attacks against earth demons.
