Another week and another Gloomhaven evening – this time with bonus AScenario #93 about Sunken Vessel. Interesting side-quest, with some gold and exp to get.
Our set-up at the beginning of the scenario:
- me – playing Brute – currenlty level 3
- Kuba J – playing Spellweaver – currenlty level 3
- Kuba G – playing Tinkerer – currenlty level 2

And here the session report!

You may ask why it was so easy? Well, having learned that we were playing on too high level (3) this time we went according to the rules and played on level 2. That was simply too easy – begin seasoned Wargamers, we were able to well coordinate our actions (keeping the secrecy as per the guidelines) and smash through the enemies. We agreed we will be playing on +1 level unless we really cannot beat the scenario. Really, we need more challenge next time!
Our Gloomhaven Campaign: Scenario#1 => Scenario#2 => Scenario#3 => Scenario#69 => Scenario#4 => Scenario#5 => Scenario#93 => Scenario#10 => Scenario#21
yup, first scenario we’ve played at normal difficulty, and maye the last(maybe we’ll come back to normal against bosses). In the first room we’ve received most hits when elite lurker had critical strike against our Host-the Brute, the rest went so quick that my(Spellweaver’s) mystic summon ally was way too slow and got recalled. 2nd room was quick, but 3rd one basically ended after 1 turn, because i finally could use a combo of which i’ve been thinking for quite some time and it was truly devastating, killed 3(of4 in room) fresh units in a single attack action. 😉 The most difficult thing in that scenario was NOT killing enemies too quick(we had huge problem with that, as enemies usally needed 1-2 hits), so we had time to loot as much as possible, and earn secret perk tasks. After 2 very difficult scenarios where we almost died/exhausted ourselves, this one left us with a distate. We want challenge, hard level, not effortless raid/loot missions .
