Infernal Machine: Dawn of Submarine Warfare intrigued me from the start. First of all, it tells the story of the early days of submarines. Tick. It takes part in the times of American Civil War, when I would not expect such endeavors were possible thus expanding my historical knowledge. Tick. The authors are Ed Ostermeyer & Jeremy White. The latter is probably my favorite solitaire games happening on the sea. Tick. We have tactical, mission and campaign scenarios, allowing for gradual introduction to the games and rules, exactly in style of Mr. White. This also gives tens of hours of play and joy. Tick. Components are beautiful, top-notch and what GMT Games is known for. Tick.

Well yes, as you can see I was really looking forward to that title and when it arrived immediately jumped at it. Below I am presenting not only components but start to explain some of the rules and game mechanics. Much more content will definitely come!
