Who does not know Paths of Glory? That fantastic classic from Ted Raicer allows players to step into the shoes of the monarchs and marshals who triumphed and bungled from 1914 to 1918. We have Central Powers who must use the advantage of interior lines and the fighting skill of the Imperial German Army to win rightful ‘place in the sun.’ At the same time, the Entente Powers (Allies) must bring their greater numbers to bear to put an end to German militarism and ensure this is the war ‘to end all wars.’
Sounds familiar? Of course it does. The game is with us since 2010 and hundreds, if not thousands, of sessions were played. In the meantime the Historical Scenario was refined, as well as rules update. Many Optional cards, counters and mechanics were created. But one thing was bothering players all the time – how to play it solo?
But this is not an issue anymore. With GMT’s CDG (Car Driven Games) Solo System we can now play the game by ourselves! In below material I am presenting – based on Introductory Scenario – how the system works:
Enjoy!
Terrific job as always, Michael. Thanks for putting in the considerable time to produce this! You’ve inspired me to get POG back on the table after far too long.

Thanks for kind words! I love that game so much – and it is pity I do not have enough time to play it as often as I wish!
