Race to Berlin: Second Edition – a first Wargame to be published by Portal Games – is a tense two-player title depicting the final Allied race toward the German capital in 1945. As Western Allied armies cross the borders of the Reich after forging the Rhine and the mighty Red Army prepares for its final offensive toward Berlin there is only one question – who will be first?
The game was first released in 2015, and this Portal Games’ edition features significantly improved components, a revised rulebook, and some rule adjustments based on experience with the first edition. On top of this we are getting several scenarios (some of them shorter, training ones) as well as a couple of game variants. If you add to this astonishingly beautiful components, you are getting truly not a reprint but a completely new edition!
