I am always keen to explore new solitaire wargame designs. My interest in this type of game grew significantly during the pandemic, and it has remained strong ever since. Even today, I find great satisfaction in trying to outmaneuver the system-driven opponents that stand in the way of victory. Over time, I have even developed a set of favorite solo titles and preferred series within the genres.

Two years ago, I spent many engaging hours with a game that was new to me at the time – Stalingrad: Advance to the Volga, 1942 – followed a year later by another entry in the series, Manila: The Savage Streets, 1945. Both titles impressed me with their accessible rules combined with surprising depth and strong replayability. With such positive experiences behind me, it was only natural that I would be eager to pick up the latest installment as soon as it was released.

And here it is – Berlin, which brings so much novelty and fresh mechanics in already great system. Let me present it to you in more details in below material:

Enjoy!
