Combat Commander series is definitely and without any doubt one of my favorite, small-units, tactical combat wargames. I played it extensively, among others with Dave through the whole Bas Game, and appreciated every crazy and surprising moment that game brings.
I am so happy the series continues (with recent announcement of Vietnam and soon to be published Minor Nations). But before those great expansions will come, some time ago (2007?) we got a huge boost to this system replayability by introduction of Combat Commander: Mediterranean. It brought to us British, French and Italian armies as well as dozens of new scenarios which you could play.
I would like today to present to you exactly that game, talking about box content, components and some other interesting aspects pertaining this game.
Enjoy!

Just in time for the Anniversary edition, that I’m really looking forward to!
I’ll finally have this game in my hands instead of just VASSAL
