Freezing Inferno is a 1 or 2 players wargame set in World War 2 covering the 1939-1940 conflict between the USSR and Finland. It is a hex & counter game with unique battle mechanism, a lot of strategy, some optional diplomacy and a number of features specific to the harsh winter conditions of the setting.
In my opinion, Freezing Inferno is medium level complexity and lasts from 3 to 6 hours (with experience can be quicker). Variable setup and random cards bringing effects to the game offers great replayability. You can use two sides of the map and three optional modules.
In below video you can check the game components (beautifully!) plus some details on mechanics.
Enjoy!
This looks interesting! I remember watching Zika’s video about it

I really like it; there will be next game in series about Khalkhin Gol battle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Khalkhin_Gol). That also sounds cool!

Having researched this game a bit and after to listening to the Discriminating Gamers review of the game I have ordered it. He gave it a big thumbs up. Sounds like it has some interesting mechanics in it and I am just interested in the theme as well.

I agree, the mechanics are great and gameplay pretty dynamic. What is also a positive, a huge replayability depending on the initial set-up.
