There was a huge gap in my collection which is finally patched! One of the best – if not the best – COunter INsurgency titles in the series arrived – and not alone, but with two expansions! I am very eager to dive deep into this masterpiece from Mark Herman and Volko Ruhnke. More content will come – for today we shall explore the components of below Tri-Pack!

I had to play introductory game with my group and it was immediately a blast – we will be playing more, for sure also testign 2-player variant (one side controling NVA and VC, the other US and ARVN, with lower victoy margin on each side being the score of the player)

I’ve never tried that but would be interested to hear how it goes. There are two other options for two player games.
Using Tru’ng for the other two factions. We’ve tried this and it was very satisfying and challenging…….it didn’t feel like a diluted experience at all.
The other is the Black April scenario from the FoS expansion, which I’m keen to try some time.
