Not sure about you guys, but I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Combat Commander: 20th Anniversary Edition. This is by far one of my favorite tactical wargames – I dare to say, probably the best I played. Getting this super production, created to commemorate the publication 20 years ago, was really something.

And this is not a pure reprint. In a large, sturdy box we are getting the combined sets for Combat Commander Europe and Mediterranean. What that means? That we can play with Germans, Soviets, Americans, British, French and Italians.

But wait, this is not everything! This pack will also include the full Minor Nations expansion, with Poles (hurray!), Canadians, Greeks, Rumanians, Finns, Yugoslavians, Brazilians and New Zealanders! Each and every of those forces will be a highlight of one of the scenarios (also included in the game).

With 12 double-sides maps, 24 scenarios in total, random scenario generator, six decks of cards, hundreds if not thousands of counters, we are getting hours of great games and enjoyable sessions. All of this with superbly written rulebook and greatly depicted chaos of battle.
