To say that I am having a blast with various Mike Lambo’s games would be an understatement 🙂 They are easy to learn, quick to play and enjoyable small solitaire wargames. Each installment has slightly different mechanics, rules and goals. Still, they do their job splendidly, allowing you for a short gameplay – usually repeated multiple times as they all contain numerous scenarios.

Today I would like to present a Teach & Play material for Ghosts of the Jungle. It tells the story of 3rd Squadron of the Australian Special Air Force Service Regiment (SAS) which were fighting in Vietnam since June 1966. Their objectives were to undertake reconnaissance patrols and to observe enemy movement, as well as to conduct offensive missions deep in enemy territory. 

In the game, it’s 1966 and Sergeant Allen, together with Troopers Baker, Clarke and Dixon of the Third SAS Division must undertake covert missions in the jungle of Vietnam, in an area swamped by Viet Cong. Danger awaits as they face numerous enemies and difficult conditions. They will need to use stealth, tactics and good planning to survive. Would they manage? Let us see!
