Pursuit of Glory: The Great War in the Near East is a sequel to the award-winning Paths of Glory. This game puts you in the driver’s seat of the British/Russian alliance or the Ottoman Empire during World War One. Gallipoli, holy war, mutiny, and the Russian Revolution await. You will walk in the shoes of men such as Churchill, Lawrence of Arabia, Enver, and Falkenhayn.

This is a very unique and interesting look at World War I. The action stretches from India to the Balkans, from the Black Sea to Suez. Germans will try to inspire a Persian uprising or forge an alliance with Afghanistan. Russians will attempt to capture a warm water port. British will have to guard the oil that fuels the Royal Navy. And of course Turks will focus on capturing the Suez Canal and sparking a revolt in Egypt.

While using the same game engine like Paths of Glory, this game is a very fresh attempt to portray less-known aspects of this conflict. They might not have a decisive impact on final result of WWI, still they were tremendously important.
