Recently, I am very much interested in topic of Crusades – you can see this also on my blog, where I am reporting on tactical battles of the period as depicted by Commands & Colors Medieval or strategy campaigns as shown in Kingdom of Heaven.

Thanks to my fellow wargaming buddy, @ZillaBlitz, I learned recently about very interesting digital game on this particular topic – namely Sword & Siege. This is rather old-school hex & counter digital game. By this I mean that the focus is not on some beautiful graphics and animations, but on the real gameplay, units characteristics and behaviors and as much as possible – simulation of the medieval battles.

The game does it splendidly – however, as every good, detailed and engrossing product has a learning curve. In order to present this title to broader public I created a short Example of Play material based on the free demo version of the game. Check it out – this is time really well spent!

Enjoy!
