I am always fond of the small footprint designs, which tells interesting story and can be played in reasonable time. I am not talking about fillers, as those are usually much more simplistic, but titles which you can play in 1-2 hours, have some interesting strategic dilemmas as well as good replayability.

One Hour World War from Worthington Publishing, designed by Clint Warren-Davey, is definitely such a wargame. When creating this post and sharing below unboxing and overview material, I am already after two sessions and can confirm, that there is a lot of strategic thinking, possibilities and various paths to victory which makes playing this game fun. I already did the interview with the designer, which brings much more details about it: Interview with Clint Warren-Davey, designer of One Hour World War II by Worthington Publishing.

The time for First Impressions or Review posts will come, today let us have a look what we have in the box!

Enjoy!
