Let me provide to you guys the latest updates from the storage solutions front – namely, what new and exciting fresh sets for our beloved wargames appeared recently on Cube4Me page. We do not stop and with constantly expanding community of enthusiasts, create new, tailor-made packages. And because the number of new titles is constantly growing, we are trying to catch up with the requests!
A quick reminder too – you can find all Wargaming Sets under below link:
And now let us jump to actual games and new sets which were created!
Great War Commander from Hexasim
Great War Commander (GWC) is a wargame based on the popular Combat Commander series created by late Chad Jensen where two players take turns playing “Fate cards” in order to activate military units on the board. GWC offers many new and unique elements to its parent system, like deeper map, new orders, over 30 actions including Engineering works, Go to Ground, and Rolling Barrage, highlighting earthen ties and powerful artillery, etc. The base game comes with One Expansion and One Battlepack.
What we created here are in essence four sets, which cover all possibilities and combinations of those – including Sleeved and not Sleeved options. We are really proud from this tailor-made solution, as all game components – forces, cards, markers – fits nicely into the box. On above pictures you may see the solution; additional details can be also verified via below link:
Triumph & Tragedy from GMT Games
Triumph & Tragedy is a geopolitical strategy game for 3 players (also playable by 2) covering the competition for European supremacy during the period 1936-45 between Capitalism (the West), Communism (the Soviet Union) and Fascism (the Axis). It has diplomatic, economic, technological and military components, and can be won by gaining economic hegemony or technological supremacy (A-bomb), or by vanquishing a rival militarily.
From the storage solution perspective Triumph & Tragedy – just as Conquest & Consequence – is a hard nut to crack. Full of beautiful blocks, counters, markers and cards provides a real challenge to pack all of it nicely, in functional way and make sure that the box will close. But we succeeded – the final effect is definitely something we are proud of!

Fields of Despair from GMT Games
Fields of Despair: France 1914-1918 is a 2-player hex-based strategic level block war game set on the Western Front of the First World War. Players take control of the Allies or Central Powers fighting the war on land, at sea, and in the air all the while making tough economic and technological decisions at home.
Another World War One title on the list this month – not an usual thing definitely. Here we have a block game, which comes also with significant number of markers, counters and tokens. As with Triumph & Tragedy, it is a challenge to plan things in a logical way, sort all components and fit them in the box. We decided here to devote one tray to blocks, one to counters and have two card holders for additional markers.

Prime Minister from GMT Games
In Prime Minister, 1 to 4 players vie for political power and prestige by campaigning for public support, selecting and debating bills, pursuing official appointments, recruiting influential Victorians as supporters, garnering favor with the Queen, and, when the time is right, challenging other players for their leadership roles. Gameplay is partly cooperative with shifting alliances, but only one player can win by holding the Prime Minister’s seat at the game’s end.
Unlike other sets in this update, that game is mainly cards and some tokens. As such, you will see ten (10!) card holders for version without sleeves, and thirteen (13!) when you sleeve them. We are proud to utilize here also some of our Tarot-size boxes.

MBT (Second Edition) from GMT Games
MBT is a complete game system modeling the US 7th Army and the GSFG and CGF Soviet mechanized forces of 1987. It is M1 Abrams (105mm and 120mm armed version) versus a whole stable of Soviet armor with their T-80s, T-72s, T-64s, and upgraded models of T-62 and T-55. There are even M60A3s sprinkled in to balance out the US tank inventory. The scale is right down in the weeds with individual vehicles, infantry squads, half squads, and sections. Each hex is just 100 meters across, so it is going to be nose-to-nose action at its finest.
That game gave me a lot of headaches. I believe I changed set three times, to arrive finally at something which makes sense and fits into the box. Especially that second dimension was problematic – MBT has plethora of components while very small box for its footprint and very meticulous planning and packing was a must.

Sekigahara 1600 from Serious Historical Games
Sekigahara 1600 is Volume II of a series dedicated to Sengoku jidai . The game is in a box containing a beautiful one-sided zone map (120 cm x 80 cm), 432 beautifully illustrated counters by Pascal Da Silva (18×18 mm), 12 pages rulebook – 6 in French and 6 in English,12 pages scenarios (all the big battle, main battle, around Sekigahara battle) examples and historical notes and map, one player aid in each language.
For Sekigahara 1600 – a beautiful and very interesting game – creating the set was simply a pleasure. A single, shallow tray accommodates all the counters for Ishida and Tokugawa, leaving also some space for markers and additional counters. And if you do not know that game – definitely pay attention and try it!
